BACK STAGE CREW

There are lots of ways to get involved in the theatre. And working backstage is one of the best! Maybe you’ve tried your hand at the acting thing and want to try something new or maybe you wouldn’t be caught dead onstage in front of a live audience! Either way, becoming a run crew volunteer is an excellent way to get a hands-on, behind-the-scenes look at what it means to put on a show at Town Hall Theatre!

Each show, our staff selects and trained an elite group of volunteers to work backstage. We need light board operators, sound mixers, follow-spot operators and costume, props and shift crew.

It’s a great way to meet new friends or hang out with old ones. We throw in a free shirt, all the potluck dinner food you can eat and an invitation to the cast party. What more could you ask for?
