Fire Department to Test Hydrants

From September 1 through October 31, firefighters will be checking the hydrants throughout Washington Township and Centerville.
This includes flushing the hydrants and performing pressure-testing. This important routine keeps hydrants in good order but can sometimes discolor water. If you do notice discoloration, run your water through a tub spout or garden hose until it is clear again.
